The California Coast is caving in and we can see it’s being shored up whenever we drive along the coast on Highway 1.These photos were taken at Pillar Point Harbor near Half Moon BayWe were excited to see that the operator of the hydraulic excavator was a woman.

COOL…That’s probably what I would have done for a living if I hadn’t gone to college 🙂
All the operating engineers I’ve ever interviewed told me it’s great fun, “like playing in the dirt.” I guess in this case it would be playing in the rocks.
